weird women/piano ballad/baroque pop
an excuse to play fiona and regina specktor
Anyone else deadly attached to regina spektor's the call after a momumental elementary school Narnia phase? Kinda just a mishmash of whatever I thought seemed to follow a line of inspiration in my mind; less of a genre, more of a legacy. I feel like every couple years has its own weird woman singer songwriter. Trying to lean into what I find to be a more ballad-esque, piano centric side of art-pop which seems to then correspond to baroque/chamber pop, however you want to call it.
No particular meaning to order, using fiona's please please please as a starter but from there mostly by time period or flow.
